But it is not the end yet. Several other calamities will befall us before the end. One of those calamities is the corruption of human flesh as it was before the flood. Genetic and DNA manipulation have already kick started this corruption. Later generations of the human race will suffer hideous mutations and deformities. And the tragedy is that since this monstrosity has already been kick started it cannot be corrected. It will explode and exponentially increase. The food supply has already been altered and consumed. The result will come in later generations. In a sense, the poison has been ingested. There is no antidote. God's remedy for such corruption is destruction. Hence the flood. And hence the firey consumation of all things. But even more will befall us. The seven headed beast with ten horns is a most terrifying deformity. He will be the product of our corrupted genetic code. The sun will begin to flare ominously. Plant life will be dried up. Surface temperatures will rise to lethal extremes. Flesh will scorch if exposed to direct sunlight. Men will blaspheme God because of the severity of surface conditions. Men will become subterannean mutants, devoid of conscience. Revelation reveals that this world will become a place resembling a demonic nightmare: Darkness (loss of 1/3 of both sunlight and moonlight); plague (extreme loss of global crops and flora); disease (death of massive populations of creatures, including humans); paralyzation (the shipping fleets of earth will be decimated)....and on and on. When Jesus returns, will He find faith on the earth? This was our Lord's question directed at His followers in the first century. The answer is obvious: With all the calamity and cataclysm occurring shortly, faith will become fear. If our very Lord and Creator was asking about faith, you can take it to the bank that it will not be present. Because if it could be found, then Jesus' question is just silly. There is nothing silly about the Lord of all Hosts asking if faith will be found on the earth when He returns!! But the faithful will find reward for their vigilance.
