Inspiration
How do we know that the Bible is the Word of God. What is meant by
inspiration and How did God do it.
Authority
Is the Bible the final authority or are traditions of men. The Bible
says that the message God gives has greater authority than the
messenger and gives us the right and responsibility to judge messengers
in terms of their faithfulness to the message.
Tradition
What role does tradition play in the church. Valid tradition is based
on absolute or near unanimous agreement based on the regula fide, or
the rule of faith once for all delivered to the saints.
Canon
How do we know which books are inspired. Universal acceptance of the
rule of Faith enable the early church to know with absolutely which
books are inspired
Preservation
God has preserved His Word. both the Biblical promises of preservation
and an explanation of the process by which God preserved His Word.
Translation
God sent His Word in a form that can be adequately translated.
Translations should adhere as close as possible to both the meaning and
grammatical structure to the original languages as possible when
rendering meaning from the original language to other languages
Power
The Bible is the written revelation of Jesus Christ. Interpretation
must keep into account that the Word was intended to foster intimate
relations with God. In the context of this relationship there are
